Development Advisory Committee (DAC) meetings
The UWMC – Northwest team began the development of the MIMP in early 2022. The whole process, culminating in the submittal of the MIMP for approval, is estimated to take roughly two to three years. In 2023, UWMC – Northwest worked with the City of Seattle to form the Development Advisory Committee (DAC), reviewed existing conditions and growth forecasts for the medical center and region. We will also look at future space needs, discuss opportunities and constraints for the medical center campus, and consider several master plan concepts. We are commencing the SEPA process and continuing to review and refine the MIMP. The City Council makes the final decision to adopt the MIMP once completed.
